Mass 1000 smells and tastes. I just bought this from Amazon.com with
high expectations. I bought my first
Weider 5 years ago that came in a small
jar and it tasted good so I thought this
would taste and smell the same but I was
wrong. I just drank this and it smelled
like fish. The fish that smells like
rotting fish. The taste sucks compare to
the old weider that I wbought. I don't
know what happened to this Weider but
this is not the Weider i used to taste.

Best taste ever! Just bought this. Man, the taste is
great! Tastes like a soda fountain
chocolate malt. I don't know what
happened to the other guy, maybe he
tried to mix it with juice or something.
Since this is chocolate malt, that
would be a grossly bad idea. Mix it
with milk buddy! Then it is as good as
a soda fountain shake. I actually
bought this because the other protein
supplement a store recommended tasted so
bad I threw it up. But this stuff is a
whole other--and really
happy--experience. Only negative: It
takes a lot of stirring to dissolve.
But it tastes so good, even if some
chunks are undissolved, they taste good
enough that it doesn't really matter.
My suggestion: Put the 4 scoops in a 20
oz Gatoraid bottle. Fill 2/3 with milk,
and screw the cap on tight. Then shake
it good for 10 minutes or so while
watching TV. Then fill to about 1-inch
from the top with milk, shake some more,
and leave it overnight in the fridge.
That seems to get it dissolved pretty
good.

A 3 Well i've been bodybuilding for a while
now (years) and if there's one thing I
know, that all bodybuilders should know
for that matter, is that protein is
key.Now i've never used MASS 1000
before (this being my first week) but I
gave it a three out of five for the
sheer fact that it has 34G of protein in
each serving.That amount of protein in
one serving is good seeing as I have to
take in approximately 175G of protein a
day.MASS 1000 is also attached to the
biggest name in bodybuilding.....Joe
Weider......so it must work.....or it
should at least.

Joe, I love ya man but damn didnt you taste this? Dude, I love the Weiders, thats why I
bought this drink cuz I knew that they
have a name to protect and more or less
the product would be good. However, I
heard people say some protein powders
were nasty, I NEVER understood, until
now,(I wonder if mine is spoilt? but its
nowhere near expiration date?). If it
works? I dont know, cuz I'm having a
problem keeping it in. It tastes like
that medicine AMOXIL, ya know, the pale
yellow milky looking anti-biotic. Yup
the same one. I felt like quitting
bodybuilding after opening the jar. The
smell wasnt like powders I had before, I
hope its weird taste smell combination
is worth it or I'm laying of weider
nutrition products. I was gonna go back
to N-Large but this was cheaper and had
the name attachement. Advice, dont judge
it based on taste, you may have to kill
it with something, I did with coffee and
powdered cocunut milk which wiped out
the taste, but it seems I may spend even
more trying to get rid of the taste than
I payed for the damn thing. Joe, if it
works I commend you, it proves nasty
stuff is good for you but if it doesnt
man my I just killed all my taste buds
for this sport and I dont think thats
healthy.
